Why some cleaners are cheaper

Platform averages mix very different kinds of work. An individual cleaner you find yourself, a cleaning company and a coordinated team all appear in the same numbers, and some of the lowest quotes are informal cash work.

If you employ a cleaner directly in your home, Spain's 2026 minimum for domestic workers paid by the hour is €9.55 gross per hour worked, and since 2023 the household that employs them is responsible for registering them with Social Security and paying the contributions, even for under 60 hours a month. A registered business invoices you instead and carries those costs itself.

Our €26 per hour covers a coordinator who plans every visit in English, Spanish and Dutch, the same team each time, photos after every clean, a written quote before you book, and payment only after the clean. If you already have a cleaner you trust at a lower rate, that can be a great fit too.

What changes the price

What changes the price.

  • Size and condition

Home cleans are charged by the hour, so a bigger home or a first clean after a long gap takes longer. A deep clean adds €10.

  • Frequency

Recurring cleans cost the same per hour as one-off cleans. A home cleaned every week usually needs fewer hours each visit.

  • Products and equipment

Home cleans include products. Add €5 if you want us to bring the vacuum and mop. On Airbnb turnovers, products are €10 extra if we bring them.

  • Same-day requests

A same-day clean is €130 flat for the first 3 hours, then €26 per hour.

  • Move-in, move-out and post-works

These take longer and cover the inside of the oven and fridge, windows, extractor filters and skirting, so they are €140 flat for the first 3 hours, then €26 per hour.

  • Access

You don't need to be home. A key with the portero or a lockbox works, and it doesn't change the price.

  • Sundays and holidays

Same price as any other day. No weekend surcharge.

  • Airbnb bedrooms and bathrooms

Turnovers are a flat price by bedroom count, plus €10 for each bathroom above the first.
